What is a licensed cultivation?
Within the Netherlands, our varieties are cultivated by a group of growers, with whom we maintain close contact and for whom we facilitate the onward sales. We visit these growers regularly and know their crops. These potatoes are sold mostly in Europe, North Africa or the middle East.
Outside the Netherlands, we have occasionally licensed local partners to cultivate and sell our bespoke varieties. They hold the right to multiply, grow and sell the varieties of Plantera. These agreements are mostly made on an exclusive basis in a particular country.
Where do our varieties grow?
After initially introducing our varieties 6 years ago in various areas around the world. We were satisfied with the performance of our varieties, even though not all actions are successful.
The market can be served with Dutch seed or local seed.
We work with fixed parties in the following regions:
France
Spain
United Kingdom
Canada
Australia
New-Zealand
South-Africa
